Graphic Turn Time

Adode Design Equipment

Graphic printing turn time starts when the artwork is approved for printing. We email proofs within 1 - 2 business days. TURN TIME DOES NOT INCLUDE ART PROOFING OR SHIPPING.

Once you have placed an order your order number will serve as the tracking mechanism to manage your print project. You will be contacted via e-mail with detailed instructions on managing and uploading your art files.

We will not print until we have your approval to print via email. Any order including a printed graphic, will require a suitable artwork. Artwork design or setup is not included in the cost of the display.

Due to the large number of projects we manage daily, there are some important facts you need to know.

After creating your artwork in Illustrator or Photoshop, upload it to us as a print ready PDF file.

 PDF File Format

When you are starting a design you must have a design software to formulate the layout. We recommend the Adobe programs, Illustrator or Photoshop. If you are using a different program there may be some unexpected issues or errors in the pre-flight process or when the file is ripped for proofing. To minimize these issues please outline text, embed or supply images and fonts, be sure to export your design as a print-ready PDF.

WARNING: InDesign files are not accepted and if a PDF is created out of the program there may be issues with the file.

Images and Graphic Resolution: If you are going to use your own images for a design be sure they are high quality (300 DPI and at least 10 inches x 10 inches for scaling purposes) . The best quality images will come directly from the camera. Please do not use images from cell phone cameras. If you are taking pictures be sure the settings on the camera are for the max quality setting. Resolution and quality will depend on the camera used. Ideally you can have a professional photographer take the pictures as needed.

WARNING: Images downloaded directly from the Internet (Google, Yahoo searches) are generally not suitable for printing as their quality is reduced to save space on the website.

Stock Images: This is a great alternative if you don’t have photos readily available. We recommend using Fotolia, shutterstock, or istock when selecting a stock photo. We recommend you purchase the largest license possible which will be either an XL or XXL this will guarantee resolution is high enough for scaling.

Color: All files should be set up as a CMYK document, to give a better idea of what the final piece will look like. Files received in RGB or any other color format will automatically be converted to CMYK, as RGB is not used for print and is for web use only. Any critical colors should be specified as Pantone coated and art files must be in a layered format for color matching to be done. Color matching fees will be applied, and will not be added till discussed.  Please contact [email protected].

Fonts: Be sure to convert all your text to outlines or shapes depending on which program is being used. When using Adobe Illustrator select all text and convert to outlines. When using Photoshop select text layers and convert to shape. If the fonts are not outlined, the missing font will be substituted and may not be similar to original font chosen. This will delay the proofing process. If the program you use doesn’t have the option to “outline” the fonts or convert them to shapes, then please supply the fonts used in the design.

Logos: We recommend using vector logos when you can. Some of the typical vector file formats are AI, EPS, SVG and PDF’s; high quality raster logos can be used also.

File Size: When you use our templates to create your document, please make sure the dimension of your file is the exact size specified in the template. Please include the bleed built into the template to ensure you do not have white edges on your final piece. Files can be submitted at half or quarter scale if specified in the template for our wall 20ft displays and hanging banner items, otherwise all graphics must be sent at full scale.

Submitting Artwork:

  • Before submitting artwork for your project, an order must be placed.
  • All artwork files must be uploaded to our FTP site, files via e-mail will not be accepted.
  • Zip files when submitting multiple art files.
  • When submitting artwork files, please be sure to send individual page documents instead of multiples pages in one file.
  • For artwork greater than 500MB please send through hightail, we transfer, or dropbox. Please call if you need further assistance.
  • Sending download links is acceptable, but the file must be named and referenced to your order number.
  • Please name your file beginning with your order number (ex. 123456_filename_of_your_choice)
  • Large TIFF, PSD, PSB and EPS files sizes can be reduced in size by zipping the file for easier uploading.

About Proofs:

E-proofs are for layout purposes only, and they are not an accurate representation of color or resolution. Please refer to your original artwork for resolution and color properties. Colors will automatically be converted to CMYK for printing.

You will have up to 3 chances to resubmit graphics for the proofing process. Each additional set of proofs after the 3 will be an additional $15 fee per proof. If you need assistance with setting your graphics up, our graphic design team would be more than happy to help you. You can send an email with a request for assistance, and they will get back to you with an estimate on graphic time to complete the layout. (Graphic Time Fee)

Once proofs are approved, all art immediately goes into production. Please review your proofs carefully, approvals are accepted by responding to the proof approval email. If you find an error on the graphics after approval, please contact us as soon as possible. Depending on when the error is caught, we may be able to pull the piece before it goes to production. Please note: we are not financially responsible for graphics approved with errors.

High-resolution proofs and photos of finished pieces are available upon request. Contact: [email protected]

Hard copy proofs, PMS matching, and color swatches are also available per request. There will be an additional fee to do these, and this will add to production time depending on which is requested. Please contact [email protected] if you would like to add any of these options to your order.

Late Proof Approval / Resubmitting Art:

If your proofs are not approved within the provided time frame or new art is sent the same day approval is needed, your ship date will be pushed back.
When submitting new graphics for revised proofs the proofing process will start over. Proofs can take 1-2 business days and your ship date will be pushed back. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, or are in need of Graphic Design Services.

Solvent Printing Process
This process uses durable and vibrant inks, promoting strong adhesion and excellent longevity with a robust resistance to fading and scratching. Solvent printing is ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. Additionally, there is no need for lamination which makes solvent printing very affordable.

UV Printing Process
This state-of-the-art printing process uses ultra violet light to cure the ink onto a wide variety of rigid and flexible substrates. Once cured, the ink is bonded to the substrate and will not require lamination. UV ink, in conjunction with UV light, provides great longevity and vibrancy to a multitude of graphic applications.

Dye-Sublimation Printing Process
We use cutting edge fabric printing technologies at Anything Display. Utilizing two grand format, direct to fabric dye sub printers, we eliminate print steps and create fast and efficient work flows. This high speed process produces vibrant, six color output!

Aqueous Inkjet Printing Process
Our HP's have excellent color and high resolution output. All graphics must be laminated in order to be properly protected from scratching and fading.
